Who Slab has you signed in as, and what that role can open. None of it is editable here: people, roles and phone numbers are set on the People & PINs screen, and a PIN is set once, by you, at first sign-in.

Slab's desktop screens are dark. Light mode is being rolled out screen by screen: the shared token layer it needs is in place, but a page that has not been converted yet will still look dark when you switch — that is the conversion catching up, not the switch failing. (The phone app is light on its own rules and does not follow this.)

Push notifications are per device — a browser, not a person. Turning them on here covers this machine only; your phone is a separate switch. These are the same two settings as the ones under the bell in the top bar.

The one CSI catalog every job shares — takeoffs, estimates, budgets, bills, invoices and change orders all code against it. Editing a code here changes it everywhere. QuickBooks is a separate book: a code Slab has and QuickBooks does not can still be budgeted and estimated, but no QuickBooks cost will ever land on it, so it reads $0 actual forever. That is what the QuickBooks column is telling you.

The house rules the AI bill coder reads on every bill it codes, on top of the rules already built into Slab — the same ones in the /bill processing skill. Add one here and it is live on the next bill coded; nothing already coded is re-touched. Switching a rule off stops it being used but keeps it here for the record.
